The vision to bring to market an extremely light yet robust system of in-vehicle fittings came to fruition in 1994 when the system was launched. The AluV system is the first complete system manufactured in Germany to be made entirely of aluminium.

Numerous awards confirm the excellent performance of ALUCA Fahrzeugeinrichtungen GmbH: 1995: Winner of the special prize for technical innovation as part of the "Förderpreis Junges Handwerk"; 1996: Winner of the prize awarded by the State of Bavaria for special technical expertise in a craft industry; 1999: Winner of the second prize in a competition to find the most creative in-vehicle equipment.
